'What a total star!' Simon Cowell gushes over Amira Willighagen, 9, as she wows the Holland's Got Talent panel with a flawless operatic rendition

He's always on the lookout for the hottest new talent that could add to his already bursting portfolio of worldwide superstars.
And it would seem that Simon Cowell has hit the jackpot in the form of nine-year-old opera singer Amira Willinghagen, who dazzled the panel of Holland's Got Talent with a flawless rendition.
The 54-year-old music mogul appeared utterly thrilled as he took to his Twitter page on Friday morning to gush over the youngster's incredible talent.

The Dutch youngster won over the show's judges, Gordon Heuckeroth, Dan Karaty and Chantal Janzen, with a dazzling performance of Puccini's O Mio Babbino Caro from the opera Gianni Schicchi.
Earning a standing ovation from the audience and winning the hearts of the nation, little Amira beamed from ear-to-ear as she was awarded a coveted golden ticket, earning a place in the competition's upcoming live finals.

In utter disbelief at her incredible talent, Chantal asked: 'Are you really nine years old? This is incredible.'
And the youngster's vocal skills were even more impressive given that she had never taken part in any formal training.
Instead of attending singing lessons, Amira revealed she had taught herself the art of opera via watching YouTube videos online.

She said: 'My brother Vincent plays violin, and I also wanted to do something.
'So I thought, "I'm going to sing"… and then I heard opera songs, which I found very beautiful and that's when I started singing.'
The clip of Amira's incredible soprano rendition has now accrued an astounding 3.2 million views since it was posted online on Saturday.
